Food Service
Our breakfasts are renowned. They always start with orange juice, a hot beverage and the freshest fruit in season, beautifully presented, with a fresh flower from our garden. A main course entree is offered and may include Eggs Florentine, Eggs Anyway You'd Like, Omelets and perfect Quiches. Our own creations include Benedict Bake, Apple Layered French Toast, or the Ogden's family recipe for French Toast that guests rave about. Homemade breads or muffins, crammed with nuts, fruit or aromatic spices, are always on hand and offered warm with delicious fruit spreads. Delicious Full Breakfast is provided at no additional charge for Hotel guests. Visitors not staying in the hotel may purchase a full breakfast for $7.95.
Food Trays & Wine Service sets a new standard at reasonable prices. Our Meat, Cheese and Fruit trays are assembled just the way you'd like with the freshest treats. Our wine list includes several popular choices at reasonable prices as well as a changing list of select wines. Wine service includes before-dinner seasoned tidbits or after-dinner chocolate truffles. Food and wine service is delivered on a silver tray to enjoy in your room, on one of our porches, or in our friendly lobby. Requests for food trays must be made prior to 10:00 am on the date requested. We Offer Tea Service including freshly brewed tea and a tasty treat at a reasonable cost. |

Delicious
Full Breakfasts are
served at your convenience anytime between 8:00 and 9:30 am in the
dining
room, our lobby or outside in our north garden - during the warmer
months. Individual tables are set for you and your partner or
small groups. Our own blend of piping hot coffee and fine teas are
offered for our early birds at the antique buffet, and they may be taken
to your room or enjoyed on one of six porches, while watching the
sunrise shine on Mt. Shasta.
Every
Afternoon between 4:30 and 5:30 pm, you can join the innkeepers for a
complimentary glass of wine and a delicious tidbit from the kitchen.
